280zx diesel or stroker kit

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/1569564873.html

Here could be a possible start for a swap or maybe some use for a stroker kit.

thats the intake the LD28 comes with. Drill 6 holes and weld on bungs, it's a killer tourq style intake for your regular L28E engine

I almost bought one, but I decided it was too much fab work (similar to the amount for doing my ITB's, so yea lol)

Well, some dude from Michigan got to that one before I did. I would have preferred to have the turbo fab work already complete, but I did grab a 1 owner 1982 Diesel Maxima Sedan with 66,000 miles from a guy in Novato yesterday!

This thing is RIDICULOUSLY immaculate. It is absolutely pristine. The only problem is the top "coat" on the back bumper has deteriorated and flaked off. Cheap and easy fix with some polymer based high flex agent paint.

Here are some pics:

I've got a set of these new seat covers to protect the immaculate original seats and to get rid of the crappy sheepskins that are already on it:

These are pretty close enough to the original to keep the nostalgia unblemished.

Most likely, it's going to get a conversion to a 5 speed if I can source an '81, '82 or '83 pedal set and center console.

No matter what, it's getting turbo charged and converted to bio-diesel.

Ultimately, the "turbo" diesel is going to get swapped into a 240Z I have and I'll swap an L28ET with MegaSquirt from my "spare" '82 280ZX Turbo into the Maxima and never have to smog it since it's registered as a Diesel in California!

I'll end up with a turbo powered Bio-Diesel 240Z and an immaculate 2.8L MSnS fuel injected turbo powered classic Maxima for hauling the family around to car shows!
