I have a 1983 280zx base model that i bought 26 years ago and i have never had an issue like this. basically a wire shorted under the dash after i had the car worked on and now there is no power to the dash or most things for that matter. Battery is fne and i belive all the fuses are good although i am having issues finding all the relays. any help wuld be great.

 

Check the fusible links under the hood. They are right in front of the battery. They have plastic covers over them and look like relays.
