1979 280zx no 5ht and 6th cylinder

ive got a 1979 280zx five speed thats not getting power to the rear two injectors ive replaced the injectors and replaced the ecu but still no power, can anyone help me out here?

I would say do a compression test next. You may have dead cylinders.

The injectors have no power? Have you checked for breaks in the wires (ohm test from the ECU plug will tell you very quickly) And have you also checked the dropping resistors for any damage/breaks/shorts? (the shiny steel thing right next to the clutch master on the left (drivers)

how would i test the dropping resistors?? would just a simple continuity check work?

oh and would that stop just the 5th and 6th or all the injectors?

Oh my mistake on the injectors. I didn't realize you weren't getting power to them. Yeah check your wires on both. You could have a broken connection on both of them.

Also if its an 80 or older Z. download the EFI bible too. TONS of great info to help with everything

Thx a lot man i pulled it off like ten mins agon and sure as the sun shines it was bad! no hopefully just a run to the wreaking yard and ill have my baby back
