maybe you should toss out the driver and find someone who can drive a z? or drive a honda to keep up, since z's are slow for you

+1

'Easy **** is cold air intake, remove the cat and straight pipe it back', then you have to drink a lot of coffee to have an empty Folgers can to stick on the end

Stickers are an easy way to get HUGE HP gains in seconds, I think that Sparco and NOS have the biggest guarantees, i'd start with those

Seeing as you'll be pushing over 9001 horsepower by the time you get those sweet NOS stickers on there, you need something to keep you down on the ground. Go out to the airport and get one of those wing things, cause you need downforce or else you'll fly away when you're beating everyone on the streets.

Actual performance parts? There arent any mods to make your car faster without spending any money.

But in all seriousness. Taking off the cat. gives you back a mild 40hp at the most. Cold air is like.. 5-10, in the winter.

With the stock HP Hondas' run nowadays you could beat them easily with your stock z...

Just watch out for the rice boys, they already sport NOS stickers, so they're fast!

40hp from removing the cat? what amazing fantasy world to you live in? a true FULL exhaust and intake on a turbo car can free up close to 40hp... if you are lucky. on an NA car though, maybe 10.

Wikipedia, i was looking at the DMC-12.

"John DeLorean had originally envisioned that the car would produce somewhere around 200 horsepower (150 kW), but eventually settled on a 170 horsepower (130 kW) output for the engine. However, United States emissions regulations required that parts such as catalytic converters be added to the vehicle before it could be sold there. This caused a 40 horsepower (30 kW) reduction to the vehicle's power output"

And my process of addition didnt think about it only being around 10, but maybe 40, as thats how much it reduced.

tl;dr i'm clueless

well first off, wikipedia isn't a reliable source for ****! second off, a DeLorean is not a Z. not by any means. ask anyone that has good knowledge on the Z. 40hp is NOT something you can gain from removing the cat.
