turbo swap on a 83 280zxt

Hey, when I first got the Z the turbo sounded great. But recently it has gotten worse and worse when I go up hills. I was out driving with a buddy of mine and we went up a hill. He called my cell phone and asked me where the ambulance was because my turbo sounded like a siren. People stare at me as I literally scream past them going up a hill. So, I'm going to swap out my turbo with another one, but I also need more performance. I found this one but I don't know if it will fit or how much power it would add.

If anyone can help me with this turbo or help me find a turbo that will fit with more performance and a resonable price tag, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
fred

If you're going to use that T3/T4, you'll need to make a 1/2 inch spacer in order to use the original piping for the intake tube, of course it might also be a good time to look around for an intercooler to install as well.

still need a turbo

Thanks lifegrddude for the reply. Can someone help me find a turbocharger that would boost up the performance and still not put a big dent in my funds?

Thanks,
fred

All of the turbos you've shown will work, just be sure to get the ones with a 4 bolt downpipe connection and not a 5 bolt. Umm, the easiest t3/t4 hybrid to fit without resorting to a spacer is a t3/t04b.
