any turbo mods for 81 280zxt?
I would like to know of any cheap of free turbo mods for the 81 280zx. I know of the cone filter, switch the t3 for a t3/t4(not cheap), take off the pop off valve or replace it, add an intercooler(not cheap piping is a pain),put a blead in the turbo line or boost controler, extend the waste gate arm(the waste gate mod is pointless it takes to long to spool), and put the 240sx trottle body on it. Those are the ones I know please help me.

I'd mod in the following order:
Intercooler (IMHO mandatory for any turbo car - however tuned)
Decent exhaust/intake (on a ZXT, 2.5"-3" exhaust & cold-air intake).
You should now have a very noticable increase in HP (at stock boost levels), and are probably getting near maxing out the stock ECU/injection components. But because you've put on a cold-air intake & intercooler, you should have no problems with high-intake temps.
As a rule of thumb, every drop in deg C on the intake is equal to ~1HP at the flywheel & each psi boost is equal to ~7% power increase (assuming this increase in pressure is done with temperature/flow taken into consideration).
The problem with my list here is that when I've built my turbo cars (they didnt' come that way from the factory) I've put all these bits on as part of the standard package + an aftermarket ECU.
