are you talking about the L28? Or the VG? From what I understand the only improvement the L28ET had over the early L28E was the coolant passages around the cylinders were made a little stronger and to flow less restrictively. And the late 81+ L28E blocks were identical to the L28ET's. As far as the VG, well I don't know much about that subject. It just sounds to me like you're talking about the VG though, especially the part about 450HP. But hey, I could be mistaken.

this reminds me of this one manga. Wangan midnight. Main guy drives a 240z with l28et with twin turbos and triple weber carbs. the motor is also bored and stroked to 3.1 litres. In the book his car produces over 600 hp.

Here's a small vid with the car in it

I know this story is just fiction, but I'd love to have a setup like that.

Both cars have the same part number for their respective radiators. And thats what determines crossflow or not. And through all 5 years too. So either they're both crossflow or they're both not according to the part #'s. But from what I can tell, my NA is definitely not crossflow.

The turbo radiator is the same. Downflow From the factory the turbo is really pretty mild. No need for extra cooling power.

oh i was speaking of the cooling system in the head and block.. the coolant flows in betwen the cylinders instead of a complete loop around all the cylinders
