Transmission lock up

my 5 speed transmission was making a constant grinding noise and at first i thought i need to change the pilot bearing but one day the transmission locked up before i could change it, but someone else told me that it sounded like i was low on fluid, so anyways it wont go into anygears while its running or not, so i wanna rebuild it which should correct the problem and i just need a list of all the parts i will need to do so, its an 82zx na.

If your tranny was low on fluid...everything's melted in there. Get a new tranny.

The master kit does not include all new gears... if your locked up, the many of the gears are most likely mangled beyond repair. Quite often, the case is destroyed when a tranny locks completely up. Get a new one!
