Tranny trouble

First let me say that the site looks great, I've been out for awhile and it looks better than ever in here. Down to busniess. My Z hates 2nd gear, it skips it on the way up and on the way down. Fluids are fine and to my knowlege there insn't a speed sensor. the only thing i know how to trouvle shoot a tranny is fluid so any help here would be much appreciated. Thanx

eh? Kinda sound like you have an automatic. Is that true?

For the manual transmissions, 2nd gear syncros are the first to go... always.... then the transmission explodes in a giant ball of flame!

Yeah its an auto. Ball of flame huh, sounds bad. Sounds like a good time to switch to manual. Anyone know of any good tranny people in the kentucky area this job is a little over my head.

For an auto, if it won't hold in gear or go into gear, then its usually low fluid. Beyond that, I know how to convert to a 5-speed!
