tranny swap

I know there is alot of info on the board about swapping the auto to manual but there is no part list. Could someone please give me a parts list so I don't forget anything. My car is daily driven and can't be down because I forgot a part or got wrong part. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about anyone else but this is what mine was:

1.Manual transmission(assuming its a complete transmission)
2.flywheel
3.bolts(flywheel to crank are longer on m/t than a/t)
4.cover plate (goes behind flywheel against block,matches m/t bellhousing,a/t has a 2 piece version)
5.Clutch Master cylinder & lines(& reservoir)
6.clutch slave cylinder & lines
7.clutch disc
8.pressure plate(& bolts)
9.throwout bearing
10.shifter
11.shift boot & cover plate
12.shifter dust cover
13.clutch pedal assembly(with bolts)
14.m/t crossmember
15.m/t driveshaft
16.brake pedal assembly(from a m/t car or cut the sides of your a/t off to match)
17.shift ****
18.bolts(transmission to block)
19. 10,12,13,14,15,17mm sockets,
20.ratchet
21.breaker bar
22.2 rolling jacks
23.a pair of jackstands
24.a drill and bit for drilling the holes for the m/t pedal
25.sawzall if you decide to trim the a/t brake pedal
26.rtv grey sealant
27.4 quarts of gearlube

28.And a little elbow grease.

Buy a whole parts car that way if you wind up needing some minute piece then you can always go to the parts car. I speak from experience

Hey, thanks for the list. I allready have all that stuff, but it is good to know that I did not forget anything. Now, I am glad that I got the flywheel bolts as I did not know there was a difference in length.

The flywheel bolts are only around a 1/4'' longer but you surprisingly need that extra bit a lot more than what I realized before the flywheel sheered off and cut a gape in the bellhousing of my B13.(First tranny conversion,3 years ago)

Trust me ,you don't want to have to dig the remnants of those bolts out of the crank,it sucks.
