Well, my ZXT is pretty much stock in terms of performance minus an HKS catback and a K&N cone filter. Stock the car ran a 15.36@89mph. With the two mods, it ran a best of 14.726@95 or 94, can't exactly remember the trap speed. My car's also an a/t too. Sucks yes, but oh well, it gets me from point a to point b and still hauls enough to beat some cars. I will re 1/4 my car later this month since it's been almost 10 months since I last ran at a 1/4 mile strip. In the 1/8 mile, the best I've run is a 9.500 flat at 75.1 mph. The average is usually a 14.8 and 1/8 mile in 9.6. Hope that helps you out some. Still the easiest way to find out is to take your car to the track, don't worry if it's not the fastest there, trust me, I've seen a 19 second Metro at the track before and nothing is as slow as one of those cars!

lol that was funny Bleach, nah, I'm sure the truck would be able to beat a mid to high 19 second Metro! The 4.3 rearend you have should help you get outta hole fast enough. One of these days I'll take a pic of this guy's Metro. Funny that he put rims, intake, exhaust and a header on it. The header is so small! I think finger is wider than one of it's tracts!
Yeah maybe I'll see his car there this Saturday and give him a sticker to add to his ride since he already has some on his front 1/4 panel.

I have no idea what my quarter mile time is, but i think I can estimate my '83 2+2 NA 0-60 time at somewhere around 7 seconds. Intake, 2.5" exhaust, and gutted converter (I think, not sure but it backfires like gasses dont get burned up). Also, I have some part in the garage that is the stock one, cause the previous owner gave it to me with the new one in use on the car, I forget what it is its burried in junk, its either headers or an intake manifold or something, I shoulld really know.

my best run with my 83 280zxt was 13.3 @106. Thats with street tires, stock motor internals, stock turbo, starion intercooler, and 20 psi of boost. I'm just about done with a turbo upgrade on the car and I'm hoping for 12's on street tires, and I just bought a set of slicks...so maybe I'll see mid 12's with those on the car.

heck yeah theres a difference! At 12psi I was only seeing mid 14's...at 20 psi, I see very consistant low 13's. You don't get the same horsepower increase per pound of boost because the turbo looses it's efficiency, but it does still add power. You just have to watch out for detonation and so on.
