Q: about Bosch Injectors. Voltage
One of the leads is hot at 12v. the other hardly registers on a volt meter. Ive been reading a lil about the test kits and apparently the other rail only ticks for 2ms. heh no wonder i cant see it.
What I am wondering however, is the voltage that other rail ticks at.
Also, can I send constant voltage (say from a 9v battery?) to the injector and leave it open and possibly flush it from the tip back up through the main body to flush debris out the large end, not forcibly through the tip.

ok, i was thinking.
The hot is 12v, the other is nothing. Does it stay nothing and just cause a ground so the injector opens and causes it to fire? If i took 12v off the battery and just grounded the otherside of the injector would it stay open?

Yes the ECU grounds the injectors in 2 pairs. 123,456 the first three fire at the same time even though only one needs the fuel at that time. same for the rear. each green wire goes back through the harness towards the ECU and joins up. at first 6 wires. before the ECU 2 wires. like above. 123 join into one, 456 the other. Yes it will just stay open. don't try to force anything through the injectors. there not that hard to get out. soak them each in a solvent, t/b cleaner works great or fresh gas. shake em up a bit every hours for 24 hours or less. that will make them fire true. If you can. make them fire a few times(9v) while your soaking them. This system is old school. and a gameboy could control this car. But it works. and the MPG is not all that bad.
