I've read that people suggest a Dynomax 2.25"-2.5" muffler. I was wondering if I should get a round one and what size it should be. Does anyone have a part #? Also, what are suggestions for high flow cats? Thanks a lot, -Andrew

Anything from Catco is excellent - as for mufflers, the Ultra Flo Round is my personal favorite. I've installed one on my brother's '88 Honda Accord along with DynoMax's catalytic converter - it sounded great, and passed the sniffer out here in Utah. You can order an Ultra Flo Round from Summit in 3"(its the smallest listed in the catalog) and 21" in length for $65.88, I think that's including shipping, but I'm not sure. The Catco cats didn't have a size listing, but start at $55.69. I'm guessing for a high-flow cat in correct sixe, you'd be looking at around $100.

Well crap, I got a round one that is 21" with a 2-1/2 in/out and I paid something like $135 shipped. I guess I got ripped off. Anyways, how does it sound?

It depends on the quality of the build. Maybe your muffler is much better.... or maybe you got ripped off!
