Just acquired my ZX last month and have been sorting parts and identifying what I need. My biggest problem is that my local Nissan dealer is no help at all. I have my VIN but the decal that has color codes is completely faded out and I need to find out where or how to acquire a build sheet for my ZX. Can anybody assist with that? Exterior is white and original paint but interior is mostly missing and there are 2 different colors of red on the existing parts. As I understand it, there is a Ruby and a Red for 1979. Any help would be super.

Colors fade on certain interior parts over time. They may now look different but may have started life as the same color.
Looks like in 1979 with a white car (code 210) you could get either code A = red or K = blue interior.

 

Thx much. Definitely the Red. Dash, door panels and console are all red but faded to different shades by the sun. Appreciate the help.

 

You all will think I am crazy but I would really like to see a set of photos showing complete interior shots of a 79 or comparable base coupe from the seats back to the taillight covers. Mine was completely stripped out with most of the panels gone. My interior is red but any color would do so I can be sure of the panels that I still need to acquire to complete the interior in the car. It never had any of the panels but I have acquired some shock tower covers and a headliner to use as a pattern. I also have both door panels and the console, basically everything from the seats forward. Nothing from the seats back except the 2 cubbies that were still in place. Any help would be great.We are nolt even going to talk about the challenges under the hood yet. Best thing is car has lived its entire life in AZ so there is no rust to speak of except a few odd spots around the windshield.
