Hi, my dad and I are currently in the process of fixing up my recently purchased 1979 Datsun 280 ZX. Does anyone here know what kind of Transmission fluid I would need for it? It is an automatic transmission...Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would imagine regular old Dexron/Mercon should be fine, however you should get a repair manual. That should tell you for sure.
