Is there a way of getting a new L28ET. like a crate engine. I doubt it, but just wanted to ask and see. I actually don't need one now, but my engine has been rebuilt once and if it were to go out, I would like for there to be a brand new crate engine in it. I guess I would have to go with a chevy 350 if they don't make L28's any more

 

ive only seen fully rebuilt ones to factory specs...i dont think they build the complete engines anymore..

 

I know that MSA has rebuilt engines from Japan. For like less than 2k, with the block, head, cam, oil pan, crank, and such. You just have to put all the accs, and the other parts that go onto the engine. You know like the thermostat, fuel rail, manifolds etc....

 

Yeah you can get alot of remanufactured engines but no new...
