how much power and boost are you wanting to get to??? (remember boost is like chrystal meth..it is SUPER addictive.)

you need more than boost, you need more gas, a beter ignition system, a good cam, etc. just 15 psi aint going to get you near 300 hp.

How many psi it takes to make a given power level is almost completely dependant on the turbo you go with. Remember, how much power you make is a direct product of how much air you can get into the engine. A T3 at 15psi isn't going to be pushing nearly as much air as a larger turbo will at 15psi. It's a matter of efficiency.

Damn it jfair had to say it clearer than me first. yea what you want is volumetric eficency. so if you are pushing 15psi or what ever it depends on how much is actully making it in at once. but you still have to move your fuel amount up too. or els you are just going to go supper lean the more air you force in. I know all a turbo is doing is raising compresion, but you still need a good balance of aire yo fuel.

dont worry guys i've done some research. i'd be putting in 370cc injecters with the stock cam because its still reliable from what i hear to about 350 horses and im only shooting for 300. its a garret T4 that im looking at because its not to big or to demanding. From what i read up the volumetric eficency is .8 or .85 is that about right? I've been using the turbo maps off this site i found it seems to be really good if you wanna check it out. i'm not sure though if i need to upgrade the air intake and ignition systems though. oh and by the way for an ECU i'm going with megasquirt.
