Around last Thanksgiving, I started massing parts and odd bits to completely swap an RB20DET into my 1983 280zx. You'll have to forgive me, while I was turning wrenches, I couldn't figure out how to take pics without getting my phone/camera oily or greasy. I'll try to get all sorts of pics taken in the next couple of days to help get my point across.



This is about where my car started back then. Ya know minus the Greddy bits and some of the trash involved in the swap. Z Driver is my first home and if it wasn't for you here, I probably wouldn't have even dreamed of doing this, so if there's enough interest I'll keep on with this thread.

Ok, I know its been a while since my last update. Finally got around to installing my Speedhut Revolution tach. If you're gonna use it like mine, it'll need a resistor to pick up the signal. Also I got around to test fitting the RB20 A/C compressor with no fitment issues whatsoever. Probably be next couple weekends that I'll go get my fittings made up. Last I went ahead and installed my satellite radio accessories, ya know, an adapter box and the like.
