msd set up
So i just bought the msd 6a 6200 from a buddy at work for my 79 280zx.
wondering if i have the wiring right
heavy red to the battey
heavy black to the body
black to the (-)
orange to (+)
Red to 12v switch
white to (-) coil -
and for some reason isnt turning over ? do i need the tach adapter ?

you need the tach adapter, it should still run tho, just won't register but its been a while since i wired mine up. is that white supposed to go somewhere else? purple and orange go to the coil terminals i thought. white was the dizzy trigger i think google the schematics, but i think i remember that part
