Me again

ok well i got the car started now..i bought new sparks and it started...
now its running at 400-500 rpm and hesitates when i give it gas....now when i fold over the fuel line it revvs up and runs fine....so what is it my fuel pressure regulator or what? do i got it hooked up to the right vaccum line or whats goin on...

You fold over the fuel line and it runs good??? Sounds like you're pumpin way too much fuel. There's a screw (bear with me, I've got to explain this..) on the right side (close to the AFM and all of that junk) that's set vertically in a resesed little thingy, but not on the AFM (a little closer to the firewall). That screw will adjust fuel flow and idle speed. You may want to mark the edge of the housing and the screw to make sure that you can put it back the way it was...if you need to. If you turn it more than one time completely around, keep track of that too.

Also---try firing it up without the air filter. There may be an issue there too.

i dunno what yer talking about i know theres a screw to adjust air bypass and that will adjust idle...i dunno where this fuel screw is

lol i tought it would be fuell pressure regulator....how do i check that its working i think its stuck open maybe....

ok i still havnt figured it out....it starts like nothing even in now cold weather...it turnes over 3 times max and fires right up...but still pumps too much gas in....i cut of the gas starts revving up and then starts dying (cuz i cut the gas) im gonna go buy a fuel pressure regulator and see if it helps...
