I heard that you can use a r200 lsd out of a NA z32 for a s130. Has any one done that swap and if so what is needed to do that swap?

 

its a z31 that swaps over. search that one, los of info

 

Yes I know you can use the z31 rear end but they are hard to find, and the z32 are very easy to find. So....any one got some info?

 

You can swap one but its a ton of work. its not a bolt in at all. you need to fab up a new front mount I think it is. then get a longer driveshaft

 

And you need to shut up and read more.

 

Anything is possible with the right amount of money and/or experience.

it will be a massive waste of your time and money. its far from bolt in.


you can get LSD centers for the R200 you already have

 

What would the best bang for my buck be for an lsd sense I can't find one off an z31.

people have stuck the Z32 diff in S30's and Q45. this is probably what you were thinking of:

but like i said, that is for the S30 not the S130. But yes a Z31 lsd diff can go in fairly easily or like skib said, just get an LSD center section replacement that fits into your stock casing.
