I am the original owner of an 1983 280zx. I have recently found a small amount of coolant on the passenger side floor mat. I have tried to read all the posts so far on this topic.I have downloaded the manual. Great resource!
I am half way through removal of the dash etc but do not know where the leak is coming from. From my reading it seems it is likely coming from either the valve or the core. As I am down there anyway I feel I should probably replace both. The valve seems to be readily obtainable on the net but I cannot find a new or used core anywhere. I guess if I cannot find one to purchase I will see if the existing core can be repaired if required.
Would like to have replacement available if required. Does anyone know where I can obtain one? Thanks.
