I've got an '81 nonturbo that's in need of a head. We got one from a junkyard, but it turned out to be an E88 and not what I wanted.
Anyway, it's proving difficult to find a P79 head. If I put a P90 head on instead, will the nonturbo manifold still bolt up? I have my doubts, but..

The Evil Twin
It will bolt up, the your car has a round port exhaust manifold. The P90 has square exhaust ports. The edges of the manifold will be overlapping and get burned up: eventually causing a burnt manifold gasket and an exhaust leak. Don't do it. If you get a P90 head, get a 1975-76 280Z factory exhaust manifold. You'll need to have a shop fix your exhaust pipe to connect as the connections are not exactly in the same spot. Don't mix and match square and round exhaust parts.
