the only reason I would ever step away from my stock rails, is if I wanted some prety crome, or if I started runing alcohol.

Junk is hard to classify in a fuel rail. The important part is getting one properly sized (ID) to your application. Mainly, your fuel pump has to be able to pressurize the rail. If you haven't upgraded your fuel pump yet then upgrading the rail is pointless. The stock rail will far exceed the stock pump as far as flowing enough fuel is concerned. But assuming you've done so, brand doesn't really matter. You can get one made at a machine shop. There are places that sale blank rails in various lengths. They just need to be cut to length, tapped on the ends and have provisions put in for the injectors. Something will fins on it is best cause they'll dissipate the heat alot better, especially with the intake and exhaust manifolds in such close proximity. I'm sure there are a ton of resources online for figuring out what size rail to run. Or you go the easy route and buy a prefabbed unit. But if you're going to be racing, then I'd take the time to get a finned blank machined for you.
