what does the modulator LOOK LIKE !!! I have the computer down and there is a 3inx3in silver box that came with it... is this it?

also on the main computer everything is pluged in except a black plug
W/ green and black wires attached it has about 4-5in of wire what is this to ?

there are also wich look like 2 more boxes behind the computer one is brown and the other looks to be silver also...

sorry for all the Qs I just dont have the money right now to get the 2 books I need to solve these probs..

now next to the engine compartment light there is a fuesable link box with 5 1x1 little brown boxes in it.. HOW can you tell it one is bad.. and is one of these a fuel pump fuseable link...
