Dynoed car

Well, today was the dyno day for at a shop in San Diego, and I got to dyno my car! Did way better than the last time. This time, with .62ish BAR of boost, the car put down 178.2 hp and 209.6 lb/ft of torque. Not too shabby, considering the last time I put out a measely 146.6 and 175 torque respectively. My car is still sick and not completely cured of the stuff that made it run bad the first time I dynoed my car way back about a half a year ago. For one, I still have that stupid exhaust manifold leak, and it still misfires a bit towards the topend. Haven't figured out why, but eventually I will.

Oh and the a/f was rich all the way. never went above 12.2 or so. It was in the 11's for the most part. I didn't want to dyno my car with the hi-boost setting b/c the first time I ever dynoed my car it ran way lean and I was scared it was going to do it again. Oh well, better safe than sorry right? lol So anyway, just thought I'd share it here since on zcar I'll probably get no response like the last time. There was a 350Z that dynoed out 229 at the wheels and 240 torque in case anybody cares. Oh and a Mustang Cobra, I think a 99 or 00 one that was supercharged, put out 524!

That was insane! My bro's SpecV stock put out 140 in case anyone owns one of those too.

~.62 BAR is about 9 PSI or so. 0.6 BAR is 8.7 PSI so I figure it's close enough to nine. 12 PSI is in between .8 and .9 BAR.
Oh, nevermind, I found a site that's handy!

Easy enough! Just plug and chug! So .62 is actually 8.99 PSI, and 12 PSI is .83 BAR if you round up. Yeah, I'm so happy that most of the hp sapping problems are gone. From here on out my goal is to hit 250hp and then 300 as a max cause I still want this car as a daily driver on pump gas. (and 91 octane is ****! )

Heh, yeah hopefully I'll get to turbo tuning and putting it in. All depends on what goes down this summer. Plus that and money. Here's a link to the dyno run on video, it's really big as I can't resize it any smaller at the moment so if you're 56K I wouldn't recommend downloading it unless you have hours of time to spare. It's ~10megs or so. Umm, if it doesn't work, let me know and I'll give it another hack and try to reconfigure it (and make it smaller too)

Oh and for a dyno sheet, here's a link. The cool thing about this dyno shop is they post up the sheets of cars they test so that everyone can compare their cars to others. Kinda fun for bragging rights especially among those domestic big blocks. Too bad they posted my first run which was lower than my second run. Oh well, I'll post my sheet I have as soon as my scanner decides it wants to stop hibernating.

Let me know if this doesn't work either, lately links I've been putting up keep resulting in x's.
