dumping fuel

I just bought a ZX and its been sitting a while. so far i have replaced the AFM and some leaky fuel injectors. I cant get it to pass smog though. It is dumping fuel out of the tail pipe. Any suggestions?

Sounds like one or more cylinders arent firing. I'd check into your ignition system. Start at the plugs and work your way back throught the distributor and coil.

You probably have a stuck fuel pressure regulator. Replace that and your oxygen sensor. Both are about $35 each and easy enough to replace yourself.

Then clean your spark plugs and try again. After the car is warmed up, let it idle for about 30 seconds. Then rev the engine a little. You should get minimal dark exhaust or maybe no dark exhaust. If you do, then you're still running too rich. If the exhaust is grey, then you're probably ready to go get another test.
