cold start valve
cold start valve
my morning starts are like ***** so would it matter if i took the cold start valve off and plug the extra hole in the air regulator?..?im not driving it in the winter and since it has no ebrake i hafta sit in it till it warms up anyways unless i park it on flat land
also any1 have info on the AFM NA to AFM turbo swap...i need to know what to do with the internals...one more thing..the lil cap on the injector cracked and droped into hole and i cant get it out...jus a lil piece...will it affect anything???

Your cold start valve is most likely broken. Do this: disconnect the connector and plug your battery voltage to the terminals, doesn't matter which terminal gets polarity. If you hear the fuel shooting out the valve, then its not broke. If you want to take it off, you can just unplug the connector and yank the thing out of there. That air regulator serves a good purpose so don't get rid of it; it may be just gummed up and in need of carb cleaner treatment. That sir regulator will really screw up the computer if you disconnect it. Be careful.
Sure, if you want to plug it. Take a piece of sheetmetal and make a block-off plate, coat it with RTV, let it set up, and bolt it in. Shouldn't be a problem. That hole would also make a great spot for a nitrous nozzle
ok one more thing...
so i have a fuel line leading to the cold start...well im not puttin the cold start in....do i plug the line....what should i do.???
can i mount like a 7th injector there and like make it pulse for my "cold" starts???!!! would that work?? with like a on off switch in the console somwhere???
or do i just plug the line heheh thx for the input...

Well, I'm asuming you don't care too much about cold starts, since you want the valve gone anyway. Just plug the line with a screw or something and use a clamp to hold it there. Don't bother with another fuel injector, if you want to use that, just go and buy another cold start valve.
