I don't think those were ever available in North America. As far as I know they are long out of production. They were way too expensive for most street driven cars when they were available for sale.

I have e-mailed a Os Giken distributor concerning getting these heads reproduced, No response quite yet. The company is Enonvativ Force, E-mail address is Info@EnonvativForce.com. Lets every body try to get the support of this company to bring the idea up to the main corporation. I know I would buy these heads in a split second for a not so outrageous price. Please Everybody support this idea.

good luck!!! i doublt that they would build that head again.. for one thing that was one expensive head. you would be better off buying a RB26DETT with the GTS tranny and soup up the engine to pump out 500 hp and i bet it would still be a lot cheaper to do that then get that crazy OS giken head...

Ya, no kidding. One figure I heard thrown out was that back in the day the 6-cyl head cost an equivalent of $10,000 USD!

ya, just PAY someone to do a full engine swap and you'll be better off with less money spent. I know its great to build up the old L28, but really why use the L28 block for that when the rest of the engine will be much more modern? new head, intake, fuel injection, exhaust...

Is it just so you don't have to modify your engine mounts and transmission? Any old 3.0 DOHC engine should work just as well. A VG30DETT swap would be cheaper and possible.

Thanks for your replys. I see you're points but I would rather stay with the L28 just because it the original engine. Those engines you said I could swap would be cool but it's just the fact of using the original enoigine in MY car. I know it would be probably cheaper either way but if they do chose to reproduce them it's all up to them to name the price. If it's outrageous then I would be disappointed but I gotta keep my hopes up, you never know. But thanks for our replys, maybe you would still want to support me either way.

I got a reply. They said they would need a minimum of 5 people before special ordering the units. I replied asking for a price and more information. Hopefully they aren't outrageously priced. If so i will leave it to someone else to buy if they would like.

If you want the original engine, the 2-valve head can flow very well with the right porting and a larger intake valve. Look into having it professionaly done. Smooth the exhaust port but don't go as extreme with that. Power is found on the intake side.
