Hey guys anyone know what the relay in the fender wall next to the battery is for. I dont see it in any of the hayes and chilton manuels. The relay color is green.

 

I will look tomorrow when it is light out.

 

In the fenderwell? Does it look like it should have a cover over it? I can't get the screws out for my cover, otherwise I'd be able to tell you.

 

Yah its inside the fender wall. I found out about the relay when i went to pick and pull looking for ways how to trace the problem I have with my z. I came across it and i tried to look it up and i have no idea what it goes to.

 

i believe its the horn relay at least mine was there i know cuz my horn was stuck and i riped it out...but could be something else in there too

 

Yeah it does sound like your horn relay. I had to replace mine on my '81
