Question Another stupid question...

Alright, my Haynes manual was published in 1982. I'm looking for the cold start valve on my '83 turbo. Where is the bloomin' thing? I thought I had it but it wasn't it. Somebody show me a picture or something before I pull my freakin' hair out I know what it is suppose to look like, I just can't find it. I feel like such an idiot

Hey Bud dont feel bad I seen your post and I tried to find mine as well. I too have a 83 turbo, book says its located on intake and has 2 screws holding it down. It also says its connected to to fuel system via a fuel hose. If it is I cant find it, I also have a factory manual on CD and all i can find in it is how to test it after you find and remove it. Maybe ours has some other type of cold start system on it. I will dig a little further and let you know if I come up with anything and would appreciate you letting me know if you find any info on it just so I will know for future reference...........

Maybe a factory service manual would help. I'll see if I can find one.
I don't feel so stupid now. There's no fuel lines on that side of the manifold. It wasn't covered in the updated section either. Thanks for the reply.

I don't think our turbos came with a coldstart valve. I'm pretty sure of it. I'll double check, but I think our coldstart is just controlled by the ecu.
