81 280zx n/a Help !!
Hi im new so bare with me. i just recently got a 81 280zx as a gift. It has 104000 Mi and it runs pretty good. i was wondering if i can get some advice on what to do first. i want to work on motor so what should i do first headers? Exhaust? New Motor ? Tune up?

Welcome to ZDriver! And if it was well taken care of 104K miles is barely finishing breaking in an L28! They commonly go easy up to 300K+ miles.
If you want a bit more power tho you can do easy upgrades first off, Headers, new exhaust K&N air filter with a good tune up of changing the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Change the fluids and do a valve adjustment also!
If you have deep pockets theres a lot more bolt on mods and an EFI "upgrade" to a system called MegaSquirt. Just depends on what you feel like spending really lol
