60 mm TB

well i took my TB off and theres a cold start valve on it and about 2-3 more vaccum pipes then on the 60mm one. Do i really need the cold start...im not driving it in winters...and on the 60mm I only have like one vaccum pipe...whats that all about
can sombody give me an overview and a rundown how to do it properly...

Cold start valve realy aids in getting the thing started. Try it and if it doesn't start easily, drill and tap the intake for it. That's a last resort though.

install your old TB and hook a vacuum guage up to it, make sure both those vacuum nipples are for the same kind of vacuum and have the same reading. If both read vacuum at idle, you have manifold vacuum. if you can only get vacuum when revving the engine, it's ported vacuum. Make sure all the ports are one style or the other, because accessories can only run on a certain type.

If all the vacuum is the same, just go buy a T fitting and split it. If there are two different types, you need to drill and tap for another pressure nipple. Ported vacuum comes before the throttle blade, manifold vacuum is after it. Don't hesitate to ask for more help if you need it.

ok i just looked at my old TB
and the 3 vaccuum pipes that come out all have little holes before the flap (on the AFM side)
and there is a huge pipe after the flap (on the manifold side)
can i assume like you said the 3 are ported and one big one is manifold???
