I think the 4th Piston may not even be moving. i unplugged and re plugged all the sparkplugs indivdually while the car was running abnd it had no change in rythm
That would indicate that #4 is the dead cylinder. Now you need to verify spark to the plug. If thats ok, verify you have fuel...this is a little more involved. Easy way for non mechanic types is to pull the spark plug for #4, pull the coil wire off of the distributor and ground it, then crank the engine over a few times and verify that there is gas getting blown out the spark plug hole. If you have gas and spark...then you need to check compression on that cylinder and see if you've got an internal engine problem.
Best of luck!

Dead zone

Hey bud, if you have changed all plugs and know that #4 is getting fire then its probally gonna be an injector. I found mine by letting the car idle (which it did real ruff) a few minutes, then removed all the plugs and looked at them. The #3 slighty wet and the #4 was soaked with fuel, I replaced all 6 injectors in mine and it run very well now. If your plugs are dry you can listen to the injector by using a sawed off broom handle or something like it and place it right on the injector its self. Listen to a known good cylinder first and you will here it clicking. You might want to check the compression too just to rule out worn rings, bad valves etc..........
