So, as many of you've read, I was having trouble with my F.I. system. I did figure out the problem: Bad wiring from the CHTS to the ECU, but I'd already found a carb and intake set up, so I went ahead and did the swap. I've always liked carbs over fuel injection anyway (less troubleshooting!). I got a Holley 390cfm carb on a cartech intake. I've done enough reading to know people don't like that setup. Anyway, I put everything together and got a little 4psi fuel pump. Fabricated a throttle cable and lever system and all I can say is WOW! This set up seriously blows the F.I. system out of the water and I don't even have it properly tuned yet. I've done enough comparison to state that. I don't know about fuel mileage yet, but I'll update that when I get a good average.

I'll get some more pics up, but this is the only one I have so far. The throttle isn't on in it yet and the bonnet and all isn't there either.

True, but I finally got the F.I. system fixed before I did the swap. Turns out it was the wiring to the CHTS. I traced it and found a splice that wasn't connected properly, so i reran more wires a voila...damn good running car!
