1981 280zx and 1982 280zx differences

Does anyone know the differences between the 1981 and 1982?

I have a 81 ttop and a 82 slicktop.

As I was swaping some parts, i started to noticed little differences. What are the major differences, i.e. drive shafts, transmissions, steering, ecu, etc.

both are N/A

I am currently working on the 81 body (gutting interior), and building a motor on the side. I have a turbo, i and e manifolds, turbo assembly (downpipe, jtube etc.). My plan was to take the block from the slicktop, rebuilt with low compression pistons, look for a N42 intake and p90 head.

What can I expect from a project like this (estimated duration is 2 years). What type of complications can I expect? I also want to i/c and upgrade turbo with some type of engine management.

Any suggestion or experience? Thanks in advance everyone.

81-83 are identical in non-turbo form mechanical wise. 1980 and older had lower compression engines and slightly different gearing in the transmission.

82 and 83 has a few more electronic gadgets inside and different styled bumpers and tail lights.
