Tokico strut cartridge won't fit, please help

You might have. Did you get struts for the 79-81 280ZX? I think the front ones are different in 82-83 but the rear struts interchange for all years 79-83.

are you tryin to reuse the original gland nut. cause there should be a new one that came with the strut and you need to use that one. If you have standard blue tokicos the part # should be HZ3038 for the front. And if you have Illumina adjustables the part # should be BZ3038.
