When i take a hard turn the rear of my car hops? I dont know why? My friend with an s13 said that his did that and got solid rear subframe spacers. I have a 79 280zx, even if i wanted to whip my tail out at a turn it hops rather than slides any advice guys?>

Maybe your LSD is locking up? sounds like the diff to me
|
indeed.... sounds like what happens when you weld up the spider gears in the diff. If you still have an open diff, it might be something loose or catching in the suspension.... maybe locked up brake caliper??? "Gets on unduh thur n check et oout!" :D

A '79 doesn't have an LSD unless you put one in it...
It could be a problem with the diff though still. Sounds like you have a good suspension set up going but how's the rear camber? Excessive negative camber can cause this. Also check the mounts on the diff. If they are smoked, the whole assembly is going to rock back and forth under a load... No bueno. Rod. |
You finished the LSD swap didnt you?

i found my problem...DAMN BLOWN STRUT! Only 1 year old tokico hp and its blown...

I was gonna say bound up bushing, but you got it!
