Loosen the nuts on the differential flange & it should drop right down.

thanks, p.s. do i use the emergency brake to stop the wheels from spinning? i have the car in the air on 4 jack stands only i wish i had a LIFT !!!! =-(((

yeah... use the ebrake, put it in gear, or you can put a screwdriver in between the flange & end of the tranny tunnel for leverrage.

thanks nismo pick i was albe to get the rear drive shaft off but one of theb lots was pretty badly rusted so i used my trusty high speed fremel tool with my cut off wheel and cut it half way down and wall la !! it cam right off at first had a problem tring to get it to dislodge so i hit a a few time with my 20mm wrench =-) a few taps and wall la !! came down no problem now... i just need to unblot the auto tranny mounts and then unblot the engine mount and then i will need a cherry picker to pull her right out am i right ?

Once you have the tranny out, and all the wires / connections unhooked from the engine: pull that sucker out! Yes... an engine puller "cherry picker" will work wonders.
