my poor searching skills have turned up nothing. does anyone know where i can buy the trim clips that hold on the top section of chrome trim around the windshield of my 280zx?

lol i saw that page too in my bda mag at home i thought they were the black end pieces that finish off the pillar trim. thank you nismo, i have had a tag here before (wake2wake i think it was). nismo you should get paid for your godly z car knowledge and willingness to share it.

I was about to start a new topic and then I saw this and this deals with the same thing I was going to ask. In that pic of the black dragon catalog there dont appear to sale the side molding for the windshield. Thats the part that I need and I cant find it anywhere. Can someone tell me where to find it?

On a side note everthing I have a hard time finding for the s130 is easy as hell to find for the s30. The s130 gets no love at all.

Or... if $80/ea is a bit too pricey (I think it's outrageous) you could check your local junk yards.

I wish I know WTF the previous owner was doing to have the side molding missing anyway. Jesus I don't know what people are thinking when it comes to these cars.

 

Doesn't the windshield side trim hold the door window rubber moldings? How do your door windows seal?

 

No. Its the molding/trim directly on the side of the windshield. It looks like someone just put the windshield there and just glued it in place.

 

This is the windsheild trim thats missing. This is the windshield side molding isnt it?
