Hey people Pura vida?

Hi, I'm new here & new with Z cars... I just bouth (yesterday) a 81' 280zx 2+2 N/A manual my first z ever...

The car is in real good shape, new paint job, new shocks, complete maroon interior ( will be grey soon ) Original 14x6 rims with 185/70/14, stock exhaust system, t-top, electric mirrors and windows...well.. a really good deal for just a few dollars...

But, there's always a "but", it does not have the passenger side window and have broken tail_lights (previous owner's kid broke them...damm "Chuky")

Here in Costa Rica, will be hard and expensive to get that window; could you guys tell me:

1- If the 2+2 and the coupe use the same kind of window?
2- Any website?
3- a shop near South Hampton, Long Island; Sacramento; L.A(some friends and family live there)
4- or if some1 has it I will buy it!
5- any change on ebay?

Any help will be great, u guys are the best I know u'll help me!

As soon as I get a Digital camera I'll post some picture of my new babe!

if you don't want to spend alot of money i have one word
Plexiglass it's like 5 dollars a square ft i did it for my rear window or if you have a little more money than that look into victoria british they have everthing

your family members in california can probably get a used one from any junkyard in LA or Sacrament pretty easy. and pay less than $100 for it..

Bleach

The door and window is longer in a 2+2 than a 2-seater.
FYI, same thing goes for the T-tops.

Your best bet is to find someone in the US who will sell you the part and ship it. Junk yards are starting to charge way too much and most don't carry cars this old.

Thank you guys, I thought that it will be harder to find that piece of glass. I will call my uncle in Sacramento or my cousin in L.A(maybe cheaper in L.A)

Hey rupert42 I will go that way after my Z pass some goverment emissions and security tests...

By the way, I want to check if all the vacumm lines are in the right place...Do you guys have any diagram or somethig?

Are u using the original Spare tyre? I only get the rim with two valves on it no tyre...???...rare... How does this work? what kind of tyre it use?
