I'm bidding on a set of 350z seats and a set of CRX-si seats on ebay right now. I know the CRX seats fit very well with little modification and i know that i love the 350z seats from having driven a few.

Well someone outbid me on the CRX seats at the last minute so looks like 350z seats it is

 

When I was checking, if 350Z seats even showed up on eBay they went for at least twice the price of any CRX si seats... and I paid about $300 for my Si seats. If you can get 350Z seats for less than $600 then that is a really good deal.

Why don't you just get the stock seats recovered with a nice leather or cloth?

$600 is worth it for 350Z seats... stock 280ZX are not worth $600 to me even if new. I wish these 350Z seats were that cheap a year ago! I would have loved to have those instead of my CRX seats... people were asking $1000 for 350Z seats back then... and 600 is about as cheap as it got. 600 plus shipping. boo hoo

Suck ***? the stock seats from the 280zx are prefectly fine for street driving. My 280zx has the stock seats and I find them to be very comfortable.

Is the reason why you guys think it sucks *** because you want seats that are little "WIDER" ...

the stock seats doo kinda suck... make a sharp turo and youll be sliding from side to side... thr stocks seats didnt have much of side bulsters .. but i do like the 350Z seats a lot...

 

I love my stock '79 280zx seats. They are the highback ones, and they are quite comfortable. Besides, I want my Z to be sleek, and rough around the edges. I don't like cushy cars, roughness rocks!!

 

Yes, they are very comfortable. I've made many a long drive with the stock seats and been more comfortable then in most of the modern cars I've owned. But from a performance driving standpoint, they do indeed suck ***. They just dont have enough bolstering to keep you planted.

And my complaint would actually be that the 280zx seats are too "wide" But then again, I've got a pretty slim frame
