Rotating Dome/Map Light enquiry...

Any chance someone may know how the stock overhead Dome/Map Light Assembly is attached to the upper headliner?
Is a Backing Plate utilized or dose is snap into a recess, If so what size dimensions are the recess or opening?

Im utilizing this on a vintage restoration project.

it just clips in. You need the metal backing plate for the headliner board.

Roof side of head liner board
It was originally riveted
