Another stupid question from a newbie:

When I bought my '72, the previous owner had a louvre that he had removed from the car because he said it just rattled too much. He gave me the louvre with a whole lot of other spare ZX parts. But for the life of me, I do not see any way to connect this to the car. Is there an installation kit? and if so, where can I get it?

Thanks,

Psycho

Sorry, incredibly stupid on my part... I have a '72 Ford pickup... The louvre is for an '82 ZX. Incredibly embarrassed. Looking for a red "Smilie"

I have an '80 and '82 ZX... no 72.

Happens to the best of us.

I believe the louvres were attached with exterior hinges of some sort, either bonded to the hatch, or bolted.

If you don't have the exterior glass mounts with the louvres, you ought to be able to make your own too. They're pretty much L-shaped metal pieces with a large enough base to adhere to the glass.
