DAMMMMMN, look at you, Pimpin'! That's a VERY nice example of the way a car should look 25 years later. GOOD JOB!!! How much did you pay? How does it run??? Sorry if I missed some old conversations? NICE man!

Nice 280ZX! The wheels look good too, nice and wide. Must be 8 inch width???
Did you lower it too? Looks like a good stance.

k so my grandpa bought the car brandnew in 1979. he waited to give it to me,cuz my mom wanted me to have some driving experience under my belt before i got it. he gave it to me for this christmas. it had an amazing amount of engine work that needed to be done, a long with brakes and the windshield needed to be resealed. the had had to be completely rebuilt, all the plugs and wires had to be redone. it ended up costing between 3500 and 4000. the wheels are 15" konig rewinds wrapped with 215/65/15 yokohama es100's. its not lowered or anything. it runs pretty good. haven't had any problems. cept some of the electrical is bad, but i will worry with all that when i get back from boot camp.

hmmm...and Motorsport Auto sold you those tires? Those are oversize. Your speedometer will be reading too slow.
Should be 205/60/15 or 225/55/15.

215/60/15 is just a little bit oversize but 215/65/15 is even bigger. Maybe that's why it looks a little lowered. The tires fill up the fenders.

Ok good. I'm running 215/60/15 right now even though I probably should have gone with 225/55/15. I'm changing wheels as soon as I have money for tires so I'll be buying new 16" tires.

Very nice Zed Sled, man! I'm impressed - such a clean example, and so well kept. You've got quite a start.
