In my zx the clock and the lights around the speedometer are going off and comin on. the lights around the speedometer are turning on when they aren't suppose to like the emergency break, door open, fuel. I don't know y and also the clock will come on and then shut off for while. If you know what could be the problem i could really use the information thanks.

 

man it sounds like youve got an electrical short somewhere... i have a feeling its on that electrial terminal that connects to the speedo cluster..

 

Are the bulbs that light the gauges difficult to replace...or even replaceable for that matter? I like my black faces (dont wanna be like every other new car) but i would like a blue glow. I saw a friends jetta a while ago, she had black faces with saphire lighting (all stock). I loved the look...Also my orange glowing faces dont match my stereo glow (pioneer's with their bright blue light). So are the bulbs tinted orange and can i get blue ones, or is it the face? I looked at the speedo cluster at the pick n pull the gauges just seemed like white plastic with black paint, just didn't have the bulbs. Anyone here done it?

 

The bulbs pull out and have little orange plastic sleeves over them. You should be able to put in blue bulbs with no cover and get the results you want.
