Just finished installing my eclipse driver's seat
Wasn't too bad. I had to do a little fab work. Some cutting and welding. They fit in very good and aren't too high. Anyway I just wanted to tell somebody. Now for the passenger seat.

How do they look in there? You should post some pictures when you're done, I'd like to see it.
Sounds like it's a good thing though:unibrow: |
Yeah, with the number of Eclipse's in the junk yards, they could be an excellent alternative to Civic SI or Integra GSR seats.
|
I'll put some pictures up in the next couple of days. I spent a little over an hour today on the other seat and am about half way done. I will also post how I did it .......... which I'm sure isn't the best or only way.

Here is a link to a pic of my install.

yeah that looks really good.

They're actually 94 Eagle Talon seats. Same as Eclipse with a little trim difference.

In the pictures they look sorta tan but they are gray with some black mixed in. They match perfectly. I was a little worried about comfort but they are really an improvement.
Definitely the best upgrade that I have done so far. |
Instructions for 94 eclipse seat swap to 280zx

I have posted some instructions as to how I did it. I hope that this will help someone. The CRX SI seats are too rare and can be expensive. This is a alternative choice for someone looking to upgrade their seats. I was general in some places but if anyone has any questions, just pm me. I will be happy to help. This method may not be totally professional but it is far from ghetto.
