Direct seat swap ?

Is there a direct seat swap ? Meaning no welding required. Cutting i can do, But Have no mig so no can weld. is there a newer nissan that will swap out or any manufactuer for that matter. Its pretty hard to find interior parts Where i live and when it comes to seats, shipping would be terrible.

There's a few guys that have swapped in CRX seats w/ minor bracket adjustments / mods. MSA makes brackets for Corbeau Racing Seats for $70.

Recaros out of a 91 Crx SI. Alittle fabrication here and there and theyll fit nicely.
No welding was required for these.
Send me a pm if you want some more info.

I just got mine in!
since the seatbelt bolts to the seat rail, I decided to use the 280ZX seat rails. I drilled a new hole in each rail and used some short spacers on the front mounts. They then bolted right up to the Honda seats. The width spacing was perfect. Not too hard at all. I've had these in my living room for about 8 months now! not anymore! I'm about to go out for my test drive.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! My damn friend pulled a set of CRX Si from the junkyard and theyve been in his room for like 6 months! I actually sit in them and play Gran Turismo4 in them at his house! He tried to put them in his Corrolla but no good. Haahaa Ill see if he let me try and mount them in my Z! (see its good to have friends who LOVE Honda)

Oh and about the 240sx bucket seats nice choice im suprised no ones done it yet! I find those seats all over the junkyard, plus they have slots for harnesses!

Ok picked up the seats and I noticed the headrest on these are different, they dont have the holes in the middle, or red lines going across the seats, but they are CRX seats. He wasnt sure if he pulled them from a Si or not. Oh for people looking for CRXs in the junkyard, and want to make sure its a Si, I think look for a sunroof. Only the Sis had sunroofs and you know how kids would put Si badges on their non Si cars? yeah just watch for the sunroof...

Ok those seats are not from an Si, but should work. The Si has a sunroof but Honda called a moonroof I belive. I have an 88hf CRX in my garage awaiting buildup (the Z is great to drive too). My Z is stock but I have a lot done to the CRX.. engine swap, trans work, lowered a bit, intercooled turbo, Integra ECU, backseat... well you get the point. I like the CRX seats but they are getting rarer to find theese days. Hope yours fit in!

I put 94 Eclipse seats in mine. Just had to slightly modify the tracks.

Man those krxt (at least that's what they were called in the 80s when I imported them) seats sure do look a lot like the seats out of the 1987 300zx I sold...........but they're probably 50 pounds lighter at least.

I seem to remember that you needed to use the right hand side seat rails (recaro) on the left seat and vice versa but that may have been the earlier z cars.

The 'SI' specific CRX seats are different and for some reason those are the only style I liked. I bought mine on eBay and I paid a premium price... a junkyard find would have been great but I never see CRX's around here. I think as soon as a good Honda hits the yard the thing is a frame the next day.. vultures
