The rotary was a trip. I was able to ride one of the only ones I have ever seen. Took some bugging the guy. But, he also rides the same style Honda I do. He is a collector.
It was not fast by any mean. Sounds weird, and eats a ton of fuel for a motorcycle. But, it was a trip. The gauge was a strange round thing that resembles a bottle or something. That was a fun night.

What's up with the car tire on that VTX? Looks like it would be irritating to ride with the step up each time you turn, and the lack of a side profile to have traction on. Or is it just a street light to street light straight line cruiser? It's a good looking bike. Looks like a freight train.

Still looking for a car for the daughter. The owner of the modified Z dropped the price to $2,400. When I talked with him the last time he disclosed that the speedometer does not work. Otherwise good shape. I'm thinking abot a low ball offer of $1,500. Sound low ball enough? Or maybe like IWW suggested - a civic, hard to pull the trigger on that though

yep thats a car tire alright, if you look & the wear line theirs a good bit tread left before I would hit the side of the tire... that wear line is like scrapping the pegs @ that point.

it takes some getting use too, but now I forget is back there. it will remind me @ intersections the ruts in the road makes the tire fall to the low side.
but I've learned what to expect from it..

the vtx1800 has a dry wt. or 705 lbs, I was getting about 7,000 mi out of a m/c tire. about two per year @ $250 a pop, I expect to get 25-30,000 mi out of the car tire.... that coast about $130 mounted.. AND SHE DOES HOOK UP RED LIGHT TO RED LIGHT WITH 117LB TORQUE......

We like going fast in corners too. That's us. Some people don't. As long as they like it, that is all that matters.
