Body Kit Color Ideas
 

Ive recently purchased a used, but still in good condition MSA Type II body kit. Its currently primered and my cars red. The PO had the car painted and its good enough for a DD, but Id like to know what color you guys think I should paint the body kit. Id paint it red but considering the wear on my paint job Id never be able to match it to where itd look good enough. I was thinking maybe black maybe? What would you paint it?

Black might be kind of cool. White might look ok too. Maybe even the Nissan blue then you could through in a white stripe somewhere and have the Nissan racing colors. . ..

I was planning on a white stripe if the color of the body it color looked right, Nissan Racing colors sounds perfect! Thx Apollo

Thought about repainting the whole exterior red including the body kit? Might not cost TOO much if you weren't doing the doorjams/engine bay, etc. I personally don't like two tone jobs unless theyre full on high quality jobs usually. Thats just my opinion anyway :)

Thats what im planning on doing in the future solid red (maybe a white stripe or 2). But for right now I just want the car to look presentable. And I personally dont like the look of primer in the mean time.

thx skittle id really appreciate that. I dont have any pics of my car with it on because its not on yet. Maybe if someone has a pic of there car with a MSA TYPE II body kit installed they could post it......:unibrow: (I searched around but couldnt find any pics w/ angles I liked.)

I was thinking either 1 main stripe down the center w/ a small pinstrip on each side. Or perhaps 2 different size stripes offset on the drivers side with one going into and ended and the turbo scoop. Or maybe just 1 large stripe offset to the drivers side and the center portion ending in the turbo vent. Whatever you do is cool with me tho those were just some ideas ive had. Thanks again

Thats the best pic I can find of my car, I doesnt need to look 100% realistic, I would just like to see the color scheme and proportions of it in context to my car. Thx skittle

This is how I plan on doing mine when i get to the paint aspect, I too will have the msa II kit on it. I might do that same wing or try to get a mini-whaletail.
